Multibuy: Setting a New Pace for Loyalty Reward through Blockchain Technology and ICO
Multibuy is bringing its services on the blockchain as it wishes to provide its services to more people all over the world. Since the blockchain has the advantages of security, transparency and cutting costs, it is only reasonable for Multibuy to bring it services on the blockchain.
The Blockchain Technology and 2018
The blockchain technology has witnessed more attention in 2018 than ever. This is quite good- for many new projects has brought the attention to the world through the Initial Coin Offering (ICO). This year alone through multiple (1197) ICOs $7,381,445,669 have been raised (ICOdata). But that is not the whole news- 2018 also marked a year in which scams heightened as the money stolen through scam ICOs reached $700million (with just ten scam icos) – an all-time high. This year due to the attention towards the blockchain technology, there have been scammers who wish to rake in all investors funds. According to an article written by me a week ago, I highlighted some few points to take note to identify scam ICOs, some of which are:
- No public appearance by the project team to actually confirm their identity
- No products, just tokens listed on exchanges (if investors are lucky)
- They are always startup, new projects….
What could be the solution?
The solutions to these challenges are no far-fetched as they are the opposite of the above-listed points. The blockchain technology needs more attention has its application is still in its infancy (so also its market). Projects which will gain the positive trust from investors should be one with an actual product, which has been around for long and which the project team member’s identity can be easily confirmed.
Multibuy – From where it began
Multibuy started out in Italy as Promo Italia, a company that specializes in printing in 1994. The company later incorporated Eurocredit as a loyalty reward to motivate customers which became a success. Promo Italia later shifted its attention from printing to providing white-labeled loyalty reward for businesses under the name Multibuy (2010) and has recorded a good success since then. The company since 2010 has launched Multibuy travel, Advertisement platform, and Multibuy Online shopping (visit here to know more). All services on this created platform are partly or wholly payable in Eurocredit.
Eurocredit to MB8 coin – Why?
Multibuy is bringing its services on the blockchain as it wishes to provide its services to more people all over the world. Since the blockchain has the advantages of security, transparency and cutting costs, it is only reasonable for Multibuy to bring it services on the blockchain. After its launch, customers with Eurocredit loyalty rewards will be able to swap their Eurocredits to MB8 coin after which Eurocredits will close. The blockchain technology will also prevent any fraudulent creation of tokens so that only qualified loyal customers are rewarded with MB8 coin.
Multibuy is importing new adopters of blockchain Technology
Multibuy has up to 2100 businesses which use Eurocredit to reward their loyal customers under a closed system (whitelist loyalty rewards). Eurocredit is held by more than 200,000 customers. After Eurocredit is swapped to MB8 coin, it means more than 2100 more business and 200,000 more people will be an adopter of the blockchain technology. This is pushing the blockchain technology to a whole new level as more people will come to experience the usefulness of the blockchain technology.
MB8 Coin – Its Use Cases
A holder of MB8 coin will be Able to book holidays on Multibuy travel with 100% MB8 coin. Holders will also enjoy a 5% increase for holding MB8 coin annually as it launches on its own blockchain. MB8 coin will still be relevant in businesses where Eurocredits are relevant. On the Multibuy online shopping, holders of MB8 coin will be able to use their tokens to buy goods. Multibuy is also open to all new businesses who wish to transparently and securely reward their loyal customers.
The project team members appeared at the Malta blockchain conference. The video below shows some of the interesting reports.
Multibuy – A scam? Or Setting pace for more transparency
According to some of the points listed above, it is clear enough that Multibuy has been around for long, they have a working product and a proof that MB8 has a real-life use. It doesn’t stop there, the team members have made a public appearance in a major event where the likes of Binance was also present. It is left for every reader to make more inquiries, digging, investigation and possibly joining the public sale.
