【ICO】 QURAS: Anonymous chain with smart contract for decentralized cloud and IoT
Block chains equipped with Smart Contract are many, including Ethereum and NEO, but there is no other place to put anonymous transactions and block chains that can be completely anonymous with QURAS.

What is QURAS?
QURAS is a block chain project that implements the world’s first smart contract as an anonymous currency. “Is not it an incomprehensible platform for anonymous currency?”
I think that some people think so.

QURAS says a block chain that implements the world’s first smart contract as an anonymous currency, but other anonymous chains that actually have smart contracts are being developed. For example, Shield (XSH) is an anonymous chain with Smart Contract.
So, why must you be QURAS?
That is because QURAS has very powerful features compared with other anonymous platforms. Until now, the functions that were divided into platforms provided by individual chains can be handled all at once by QURAS.
Let’s look at the excellent points of QURAS.
Tangle technology is said to be a new technology that turns into a block chain.
Tangle adopts Directed Acrylic Graph (DAG) as a data structure and realizes high-speed processing. Compared to a block chain in which the data structure is in a straight line, the way of thinking is fundamentally different.
If you look at the data structure as a figure, it looks like the following.
In the block chain, we store transaction data in the block, but in DAG we will continue to connect transaction data more and more on the chain. Data can not be connected to the back, it becomes irreversible.
By adopting DAG, in principle transaction fee can be reduced to zero.
A transaction fee of zero is very epoch-making. This makes it easy to make small payments, so a new style of donation like a bargain will be completed.
Also, it is important that the transaction fee will be zero for the service of IoT to succeed. It is not realistic from the viewpoint of usage that transaction fee is taken every time the equipment communicates.
However, if the transaction fee is zero, it means that there is no taste for the approval node owner. Therefore, QURAS makes it possible to select ON / OFF of anonymous transaction, and to take transaction fee when it is turned ON.
Also, by adopting DAG, high-speed transactions become possible.
With QURAS, processing capacity up to 1,000 transactions per second has been confirmed as a measurement value, and it is said that optimization can reach up to 10,000 transactions per second. This is a value that can be adapted to IoT and large-scale commercial applications.
By the way, QURAS first implemented the block chain, then planned to move to DAG. However, since it was technically understood that it was impossible, we will first release a block chain, then release a chain corresponding to DAG.
In this way, it may seem that someone who thinks that those who have the QURAS token in the block chain will lose will not be worried about that point. At the moment we are considering distributing DAG’s QURAS by Air Drop to people who have QURAS in the block chain. Distribution rate is not going up to 1: 1, but it is expected to be a satisfactory rate.
Other chains that adopt Tangle technology include IOTA, Byteball and Nano.
You can use the storage file sharing function
With QURAS, you can handle the storage file sharing function.
There are Dropbox, One Drive, Google Drive as well as famous on-line storage file sharing function. These services are centrally managed under the discretion of the service provider preparing data storage facilities. Because it is managed at the discretion of the service provider company, the service may be arbitrarily stopped at their discretion.
On the other hand, the distributed storage file sharing function does not centrally manage data like the conventional storage service.
Data is distributed to multiple nodes (computers) on the network and stored. Nobody knows where that store will be. It may be a node owned by an individual or it may belong to a company. Even if some nodes go down, the whole system of storage can be kept running.
The data distributed to nodes can be made anonymous by avoiding the risk of being viewed by the node owner by Torrent and other technologies and passing through multiple nodes.
Other chains that adopt similar technology include Storj and Siacoin.
Smart Contract refers to a system that describes transactions between parties on a block chain as a program and automatically executes the contract when the execution conditions are satisfied. Since the result of the execution of the contract is recorded in the block chain, you can not tamper with the contents of the contract.
ICO is the most obvious example of Smart Contract. In ICO, if you transfer ETH to the address of Smart Contract, the token is automatically distributed according to the amount of ETH.
QURAS also has this Smart Contract, and if anonymity is OFF, you can execute the contract with zero transaction fee, so it will show its power in applications like IoT. Of course, Smart Contract can be executed even when anonymity is on.
Also, using smart contracts in anonymous chains is a new field in the first place, so it is expected that you will not be thinking about how to use it anymore.
In addition, there are Ethereum, NEO, Cardano, Lisk in the chain adopting Smart Contract.
Finally it becomes anonymous technology which is the sale of QURAS.
As in financial and personal information protection, QURAS is good at dealing with types of data that must be dealt with anonymously in the first place. In addition, there is a merit that it is possible to keep the communication of the device which may lead to a serious accident if it is hacked like IoT is kept secure.
In QURAS, we will use the following anonymous technologies to provide complete privacy protection.
- Zero knowledge proof: Anonymous technology used in Zcash (ZEC)
- Ring signature: Anonymous technology used for Monero (XMR)
- Tor: Anonymous technology used in Verge (XVG)

Other chains adopting anonymous technology include ZCash, Monero, DASH, Verge.
The point that QURAS is friendly to the earth must also be added to the strength of QURAS.
Currently, many anonymous currencies use Proof of Work (PoW) as a consensus algorithm.
PoW refers to the task of generating a data block of a block chain and acknowledging whether the correct transaction is recorded in that block. This requires huge calculations.
The enormous calculation by PoW leads to consumption of a large amount of electricity. On the contrary, what you do is simply productive not to find a hash value. Therefore, from the viewpoint of environmental protection, PoW is perfect evil.
On the other hand, QURAS uses the consensus algorithm called Proof of Importance (PoI).
PoI is a consensus algorithm that is also introduced by NEM (XEM), so no useless electricity cost is applied. It is a mechanism that holds many QURAS tokens and gives incentives for approval work to nodes contributing to the distribution of tokens.
However, in QURAS, transactions are taken only in transactions with anonymity turned ON, so incentives are entered into anonymous transaction approval tasks.
QURAS is still in the implementation stage, implementation testing of the DAG protocol will begin 1Q of 2019.
